Five minute Freewrite day 2781- spinning too many plates

in Freewriterslast month

Hello everyone welcome to my blog

Lena's life was a blur of chaos as she found herself spinning too many plates. On the surface, she seemed to have it all together – a demanding job, a loving family, and an active social life. But dip down, Lena was struggling to keep up with the expectations of others and her own self-imposed pressures. She juggled late nights at the office with early morning school runs, social media-perfect family dinners with actual family time, and friendships that required constant nurturing.

As the plates spun faster and faster, Lena began to lose control. She'd forget important meetings, arrive late to family gatherings, and sacrifice sleep to keep up with the demands of her job. The plates were starting to wobble, and Lena knew she couldn't keep this pace forever. She felt like she was constantly playing catch-up, never truly present in any moment. The stress was taking a toll on her physical and mental health, and Lena knew she needed to make a change.

One day, Lena decided to take a step back and reevaluate her priorities. She let some plates drop, delegating tasks at work, scaling back on social commitments, and focusing on what truly mattered – her family and her own well-being. It wasn't easy, and there were moments of guilt and uncertainty. But as she slowed down, Lena found a sense of peace and clarity she hadn't known in years. She realized that she didn't have to spin all those plates to be worthy; she was enough, just as she was.
