You Can't Fight Your Way Out Of Every Situation - ZAPFIC50 MONDAY (Week of 4.21.25) | Prompt: lip (labio)

It's time for another ZAPFIC50 Monday. This challenge by @felt-buzz. presented the opportunity to explore the prompt this week "lip". Steering toward the usual meaning of the word, I decided to share a story involving young adults. Those teen years provide numerous opportunities to explore their behaviors and mindset when it comes to peer relationships.

My story is below:

"That busted lip you gave Thomas doesn't prove you're superior." Frowning, Everett's dad scolded.

Adamant, Everett quipped, "yes, it does! He'll stay out of Adriella's face."

His father sighed, reflecting on his own teen years.

He'd require another tactic to combat his son's temper and jealousy.

Two inevitably toxic combinations.

! [You Cant Fight Your Way Out Of Every Situation].

You summed up the word lip well. youth, with signs of emotional lips there, and fists that might be hidden behind the waist, and still harbor anger. :)

I hoped to achieve a complete story for the prompt @anggreklestari and am pleased you thought it was developed well. The underlying reason for jealousy I believe is a feeling of insecurity. It can be shown in any situation, especially romantic or any other relationship. When it becomes a problem I feel is when a person has anger issues or a quick temper that may cause them to act irrationally. Also, as you say, a person can harbor deep feelings of anger, then act out when something else triggers it.

Not a good combination in any event. Young adults who don't yet have total control over their feelings and emotions may get caught up in this type of situation. It's never good to resolve issues when you're angry. And fighting is never a solution.

Thanks so much for your visit. I appreciate you viewing my story. Take care and have a good rest of your week.

It is indeed a toxic combination.
They believe in physical strength and not the mind.
Well, teens' lives are full of power and expressing unnecessary anger.

You are right @jmis101 that the combination of anger and jealousy can be a toxic one. The teen years can be a difficult period when it comes to personal relationship among peers. Often, many don't think before they act that causes a bit of turmoil.

I appreciate your visit and analysis of my story. Thanks for your engagement and support. Have a nice rest of your week.

These guys seem to be aggressive anyway :]
I've been learning & practiced martial arts, when was younger & the wisdom out of it is:

The best martial art is to balance the energies before getting into any fight! :)

only ate 2-3 punches & a slow kick out of NOWhere :) for my whole life :P

thanks for your story ~ reminding me! ;)

That's interesting to know about your martial arts experience. I've heard it's useful in case one has to defend himself. Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate it.

One lesson from the Universal Energy school tаught us just to focus with our 3rd eye into the danger...
It desolves very quickly... I can tell you many personal stories...

On the other hand.. if mass destruction or disasters appear... you can cooperate with other practitioners to combine your energy on the case ;)

Hope that helps!

Appreciate the information. Take care.

Thank you!
Stay safe & connected! :}

I hope Everest doesn't get his ass kicked by another guy who has more temper.

It's quite possible @luchyl, that Everett may have landed in more trouble than he anticipated since he barreled head first into the fight not knowing his opponent. And over a girl's affections which may not have been 100% in his direction.

Such is the life of teens sometimes. Thanks so much for your visit and comment. Much appreciated. Have a lovely rest of your week.

And over a girl's affections which may not have been 100% in his direction.

I guess his jealousy was borne out of finding out that the girl might have had more interest in the other guy. Su he decided to fight him as a way of venting his anger and frustration.

You're welcome. Have a blissful week.

That's a good possibility. Entering into romantic relationship as a teen without understanding the complexities of relationships in general is a recipe for turmoil. Take care.

Cuidate.

It is not good at all to be jealous @suisver. It can lead to disturbing tendencies where the person isn't thinking clearly. Add a personality of a bad temper, that is a recipe for disaster sometimes.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate it. Take care.

tienes mucha razon amiga

Nice write up
Fighting is not always the best

No, @sommylove. Fighting is not the way to settle any dispute. Then, if you add other feeling and emotions that are volatile, the situations can become extremely dangerous. Thanks so much for visiting and leaving your thoughts on my story. I appreciate it and your engagement.

Take care.
