Thomas is a professional formula one racer. He is very experienced and had been racing for the last ten years. This year with the launch of the night race, it will be something that he has yet to experience before in his ten years of racing. The track has been replaced by the streets of Singapore and while the lights are brightly lit across the whole course to ensure best visibility in the night, racing at night brings about something new for Thomas.
During his practice round, he was testing the surroundings and getting used to the night race, he suddenly felt his tyres started to skid as though they had no traction. It seemed like the usual setup he use for his car is not working here as rougher tyres are required when running on roads than on the usual tracks. After changing out his tyres, things seem to be much smoother and he was more confident with negotiating bends and maneuvering across sharp turns as well. At the end of practice, he knew what setup he needs for each phase of race and look forward to the actual race the next day.
With his understanding of his car setup and adapting during practice round, Thomas aced the race the next day and added one more championship to his name.
