In this morning's department meeting, Kelvin was announced as the new department manager. And to celebrate this joyous occasion, an after work party had been organized by the management team to let the team bond together and celebrate for Kelvin whom had worked for 20 years and finally becoming the department manager.
Everyone worked at double quick timing, wrapped up and all headed towards the function hall that was booked for the party. It is Friday night so everyone just let their hair down and party together. There was great music and free flow alcohol ready for everyone. And everyone came to give Kelvin a toast to congratulate him on his promotion. And for everyone who came, they wanted Kelvin to drink a full glass with them. And unknowingly, Kelvin had already downed 15 glasses of beer and he was feeling really wobbly. After which, he also wasn't clear what happened.
He was being sent home by his colleagues and when he woke up the next day, his head was spinning badly and he had a monstrous hangover. Thankfully it is the weekend and he can rest a little more without worrying that he will be late for work.
