It's Jamie's debut today for her new football club. She had been a very good goalkeeper in her previous which got her an opportunity to be signed by a top flight football club to progress in her football career.
She showed nerves of steel when she was on the pitch, stopping all kind of shots directed towards her goal. She was doing really well and opponents couldn't find a way past her. Just as she thought she is going to keep a clean sheet for this game, she had a moment of lack of concentration. A simple pass back from her defender to her was miscued and the ball rolled off the side of her soccer boots and into the back of the net behind her.
She was very disappointed with herself. After the match, she apologized to her manager and vowed to do better in subsequent games.
