Knowledge, something that is well sought after but it is not everything that mattered. Many of us go to school to seek knowledge and through the years of schooling, load our brain with knowledge in aspects of language, humanities and science. These help us to understand things a little better, how they work and also help us understand how civilization and histories have come about. It help to build fundamentals for us and definitely will help us get our way around.
However, knowledge alone is not everything. There is 2nd part to just gathering knowledge which is on its application and running it through to gather experience. Many have gathered knowledge but not aware of how to properly apply and ended up with just having head knowledge and nothing else. There are many instances whereby pure application of knowledge without proper guidance and know how through experience might lead to very different outcomes that what is being learnt from the books. And this is why going through some form of mentoring is important where mentors can help to impart application knowledge and facilitate your experience gathering.
Remember, study hard but remember to also apply and gather experience to make the learning complete.
