There are just people whom are masters of the art of lying. They are able to conjure up a lie and make it sound so convincing without blinking their eyes. And because of more of such people existing, the number of scams in our surroundings are on the rise.
These people lurk in the streets and will start approaching you to sell a product that is obviously useless but you will end up thinking that it is of absolute value. Joanne was one of those whom fell victim to such a scam. She was on the streets when she was approached by a stranger telling her that the stranger knew she had some medical issue and he know how to help her. Joanne was surprised that the stranger knew about her irritable bowel syndrome. He took out a stone and passed it to Joanne. He told her to rub it a few times then put it into a bowl of water. If he was lying, the water will remain colourless but if the water turns black, it is a sign that she had a medical issue and the stone has helped her remove toxins from her body. Joanne took the stone and gave it a good rub, then put it into the bowl of water and the water immediately turned black. The stranger then asked Joanne if she felt any better, Joanne didn't exactly feel anything but did not have her IBS at that moment. The stranger told her, to get rid of her medical syndrome totally, she needed 5 dose of the stone treatment. And he can sell her 5 more stones at 80 dollars each. Joanne thought it might worked and bought the 5 stones from the stranger. After taking over 5 stones from the stranger, she handed the money to the stranger whom quickly disappeared into the crowd.
Joanne then continue traveling towards the bus station and saw that in a nearby park, there were many of the so called stones that she bought in a stone track which was part of the decoration of the park that she realized she had been duped.
