Hello everyone welcome to my blog
Growing up, I often found myself scratching my head over my father's advice. I couldn't understand why he'd say certain things, and his use of proverbs would leave me puzzled. I'd think to myself, "I can't relate to this," and dismiss his words as irrelevant. One particular saying that stuck with me was, "It's better to be sure of where you'll come back to after the day's work than being sure of what would take you around to see other people's resting place."
As time passed, I began to realize that my father's advice wasn't as strange as I thought. I started to reflect on his words and connect the dots. I understood that he was trying to impart valuable life lessons, even if they didn't make sense at first. I finally grasped that owning a house was more important to him than owning a car. I recall thinking, "I can't relate to this," but as I matured, I saw the wisdom in his words.
In hindsight, I'm grateful for my father's unique approach to advising me. His words, though initially perplexing, have become a source of wisdom and insight. I've come to realize that parents can indeed play a significant role in shaping our futures if we value their advice and take the time to understand their perspectives.
