A man went fishing with his daughter on a bright sunny day. The weather was clement. They lived in the heart of town, so there were no nearby lakes. The man remembered the lake he and his dad used to go fishing at and decided to take his daughter there to relive those memories.
When they arrived, the man set up their gear and got ready to spend some quality time with his daughter. He began by showing her how to insert bait into a hook, and soon they were ready to start fishing. As they sat there, filled with thought, his daughter asked, "Daddy, why do fish live in water and not on land?" He answered, "They can't breathe on land, so if they're exposed to the air, they'll die."
Feeling satisfied with the explanation, they went back to fishing, enjoying their time together.
