RE: 29 September 2025, @mariannewest's Freewrite Writing Prompt Day 2875 | Prompt: change the code (cambiar el código)

A few days ago, my brother was robbed and his mobile phone was taken at gunpoint. Now, thieves have adopted a new method, asking for the password and leaving. So, we should not keep our important things in our mobile phones anymore.

OMG. How horrible. I hope he wasn't seriously injured in the assault with a deadly weapon. I can't imagine going through an ordeal like that, but I have heard of others and read it daily on the news of people being assaulted. Thieves, whether in person and physical or online and hidden still cause trauma to their victims.

You are correct @djbravo that we shouldn't keep our personal items on us. Although people always have their driver's license, debit and credit cards with them when out shopping or traveling. And thieves know this.

Thanks for sharing your brother's ordeal. Take care.
