If there's one thing Lydia has been passionate about, it is her love for learning to play the violin perfectly ever since she was introduced to it in her school class. Her school has a special 2-hour class for this, which usually comes during the last period of the school day. After class, as soon as she gets home, the first thing she does is rehearse the techniques learned in school before doing anything else.
One afternoon, her mom went to pick her up from school. When they got home, her mom told her to get some food to eat in the kitchen while she went to the mall to get some items.
"Okay, mom," she replied happily and ran inside while her mom drove off. Her mom didn’t take long and within 6 minutes, she was back.
Upon entering the house, she found Lydia seated in one of the dining chairs, shifted away from the dining table, with her focus glued to the violin.
"Lydia!" her mom shouted, but Lydia didn’t notice. Surprisingly, she still didn’t hear her.
"Lydia!" she shouted at a very high volume.
"Yes, mummy?" Lydia answered, startled.
"Don't tell me you haven't eaten your lunch! Isn't that what I'm seeing on the dining table?" she pointed at the table. Suddenly, Lydia ran off to the dining table and began to eat.
Although it shouldn’t be a great concern to her mom because of Lydia's dedication to the violin, the issue was that Lydia was neglecting her food, which was affecting her physique. From that moment, her mom started thinking of ways to ensure Lydia chose her food first before the violin.
Eventually, she succeeded by closely monitoring Lydia to ensure she ate her food during breakfast, lunch, and dinner times.
Thanks!
