Some time ago, I needed the service of a painter to paint an apartment. I searched for one in the neighbourhood but couldn’t get one. So, I moved out to the road where I met a young man called Olu. I told him my intention to paint a house. Instantly, he requested to come and check the apartment to give me the right quotation. I accepted, but scheduled it for the next day.
Early in the morning, I called Olu, and he showed up. Assessed the apartment and tendered a quote. I made a part payment and requested that he continue while I complete the balance once he is done. However, I was worried about his ability to deliver the job without supervision, but on second thought, I decided to let go.
Surprisingly, the man called me in the evening and informed me that he had completed the job. I was afraid and happy. Fearful of the quality of the job, and glad that he delivered on time.
Coming back that evening, I went straight to the apartment. Reaching there, I slowly opened the apartment and was wowed by the level of dexterity of the painter. Since then, I have recommended the painter for other jobs.
Here ends my story.
