For my Alien design No. 4, I envisioned a scenario whereby an alien poses as a human. I share with you my fourth collage design for the theme depicting an ALIEN in response to the partnership of NFTShowroom with @alienarthive for a August Alien Art Challenge.

According to the challenge post, NFTShowroom will feature all the month's four elements themed Art minted on the NFT Showroom home page / twitter and Alien Art Hive will be curating participants' blog posts. The challenge is for the full month of August. If you'd like to join, check out NFTShowroom's challenge post here: nftshowroom X alienarthive challenge for August: ALIENS.

Below are my steps in creating the Alien angel.

The design is titled Octoputavia. By day, she poses as a human. But by night, she sheds her headdress. Complex in nature, her species evolved over millions of years, spiraling deeper into the ocean.

With her shapeshifting ability, she transforms herself into her true form. Standing over seven feet in height, her massive body expands. Two large eyes rest upon her forehead. Her long, gray arms are adorned with numerous suction cups. Multiple limbs fling in all directions as though uncontrollable. Moss from the seabed embeds itself into her backside. It absorbs the nutrients she consumes from the marine animals while she is living out of her ocean domain..

She can then relax in her home filled with several huge aquariums. In each temporarily resides various crustaceans from her home in the sea's abyss. Her agenda is simple.

Under no circumstances is she allowed to expose her true self to any human. Only her trust companion that accompanied her from the depths of the ocean floor knows their mission. He supplies the marine animals held in the aquariums for her daily feed.

Octoputavis beckons him to join her for their last meal of the day. He refuses, as he's already feed while diving to refill the tanks.

"I must travel farther out each day, your Majesty. Humans love the water. They engage professionals to search the water's depths." A smirk crossed his lips.

"What is it, Sharkus?" Octoputavia answers with an annoyed glance.

"Humans must wear a device over their heads and covering on their body to go venture deep. But no worries. I hid inside a cavern. Once clear, I raced downward into the dark where they couldn't follow." Sharkus lowered his head.

"Good. We can't compromise our mission. All will be revealed in due time."

Sharkus served his Majesty her meal, then left to document the evidence he retrieved that day of human devastation to their watery homeland.

Creation Process:

I completed the still version in Canva, blending the various images. The image of the octopus fit perfectly on the female's head. For the background, I envisioned a bed of seaweed as though it engulfs her body.

I also included a stable diffusion abstract image retrieved from StarryAI and another abstract image I designed in Bomomo. The design from Bomomo provided the tan background inside the brain.

To create the video, I uploaded the still image into Deep Dream Generator. I noticed this program has changed their credit allotment. It cost me 70 credits to produce the video. I was completed surprised by the female lifting her arms as she didn't have any arms in the original image. Excellent video production.

I wonder what the mission of this beautiful, gigantic lady with big eyes and tentacles might be... What a beautiful design and accompanying story!

Could it be that in the depths, in the ocean trenches that no one has explored, there is something... Have you ever wondered if there might be? I have... UFOs have been seen coming out of the water. Interesting!

I love the movement you gave to the design and the mystery of the story!

An emissary from a sea creature from a hybrid octopus horde sent to discover the cause of human's contamination of their watery habitat. Probably lived in the deep for thousands of years, but are now faced with contamination from the long-term effects of pollutants. An interesting theory. I've often wondered what dwelt in the abyss.

I too love the animation and was surprised how it turned out since I didn't expect the addition of the arms when she had none to begin with. How clever. Thanks so much for your visit and lovely compliment. I appreciate it and your steadfast support of my projects.

Take care.

Have you ever read anything about the supposed hollow earth theory? Do some research... sometimes theories are not just theories.

I like that they protect the sea from pollution! Thanks to you!

I'll check it out this hollow earth theory. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Take care.

🤗

This is such a creative concept! 💖 I love how you not only created the visual art but also built an entire world and story around Octoputavia 🙌 The detail in her character and mission is so imaginative ✨ It's a fantastic entry for the challenge, and the video adds a great touch 💕🤗

Hello @wanderelle. I'm so pleased you stopped by and viewed my project. I loved how it turned out. When I first saw the octopus image, I knew I'd make a human creature out of it and give it a mission from its undersea home. Thanks so much for your lovely compliment. I appreciate it.

Take care.

Surely that Goddess will want to eat the humans so that they don't destroy their habitat. I thought it was funny the name you gave to that Goddess, Octoputavia, in Spanish it sounds funny.

I love your art, plus accompanying it with a short story gives it a plus, you have a very good imagination.
Greetings and have a nice day @justclickindiva.

Hello @mballesteros. Hope you have been doing well you and your family. I was pleased to see you had visited and left such a lovely compliment for my project. Humans may be on the menu if they don't stop contaminating the waters. One never knows how deep the pollutants travel after centuries of harm. I can imagine how the sea creature's name sounds in Spanish. Pronouncing it was a bit difficult, but I wanted to include part of the marine animal's species in her name. Thus, she's a hybrid octopus.

I've found that if I add a flash fiction story explaining a few items, it may help shape how my reader interprets the design.

My family has labeled my imagination "out of bounds", but to me, it's just business as usual in my mind. Don't know what that says about my personality, lolol. Thanks so much for your engagement and support. I appreciate it. Take care and have a nice rest of your week.

Don't know what that says about my personality, lolol

I think what it says about your personality is that you are an intelligent girl!

Woah another very cool one, and TY for sending me an edition of Angels in disguise <3

I'm pleased you like how this one turned out also. You're welcome for the last Alien. I've also include this one. Thanks for taking the time to stop by. I appreciate it.

Take care.

Very inspiring! I've been meaning to paint Meduza myself. You've really created something that's in line with the times, Meduza's snakes are everywhere when it comes to society!

I attempted to identify the alien sea creature under the ocean by adding part of in in her name. She's a hybrid octopus. Their species dwell deep, but humans are invading their habitat with pollution.

Thanks so much for your visit. I'm pleased my design inspired you. Take care.
