We have a little flock of chickadees in my back yard and they seem so tiny and frail yet they do not migrate for winter, they survive! When it gets cold they fluff up their feathers to increase insulation and it's so cute <3

        Those lovely songbirds. I love seeing them in the Piney Woods of East Texas. We have the Carolina Chickadee variety. But I didn't know that they stay put in winter. Thanks so much for your visit and insight. I appreciate it and your support. Take care.
