The story begins with Nina Lindra, she had lost her parents when she was a kid. Later she got adopted by a distant relative, they have cleared her family's debt and raised her. Nina's new parents were not that kind to her as they were using Nina as their daughter's substitute who's name is "Lilia" , Nina has the best method of using magic power such as healing and very good at studies. But she always ends up in the last row of lowest grade list because Nina always disguised herself as Lilia and took the exams.
The kingdom's queen requested to take Lilia as their son's healer, who's name is Erland. But Nina's adoptive parents asked Nina to disguise as Lilia to heal Erland as she's more skilled than Lilia. Nina refused but she got reminded of their favors and was forced to accept it because she didn't have a choice. Now Nina has to pretend as Lilia untill the graduation after that she can be free. Lilia's mother thinks this is a great opportunity to make Erland fall for Lilia so they would get married.
It's Nina's first day in new environment she went with her sister Lilia, there she had met Erland who was very arrogant and passed cold comments for Nina as her grades were very low but still managed to come at a place like this. Nina out of respect could not take her stand but still she had to heal Erland everyday. Erland could not figure out the difference in the personality and on the other hand there's Prince Goran who could easily see through Nina's secret.
Will Nina be able to keep her secret until the graduation or her secrets will be revealed?

I'm really excited to see some love triangle, I do admire this type of stories but I don't like it when the male lead is arrogant and cold. Like is it necessary to make him act like that? I really am not liking the personality of the black hair guy because he's way too rude. How does someone's grade define who they are actually? He doesn't know Lilia is not the one who's healing him and I think he's very careless to notice the difference in her character. He is very annoying I would not like it if she ends up with him.
I like strong female leads who knows how to take their own stand and Nina is probably not one of them. She let's her sister take all of her credits just because Lilia's parents adopted her. I really want to see her doing things for herself as she's the talented one not her sister Lilia. Also, I think she won't end up with Prince Goran because female leads usually fall for the arrogant male lead and they don't like the naive decent ones. To be honest I like his character the most he's fast forward and that's my type of guy haha.
I think the artstyle is average, I didn't find any special details on the clothing's plus the uniform ties look very unpleasing to the eyes. I also laughed out loud because of the family's name it has "Lust" in it, like I wonder if the author was in their right mind like seriously who would keep this type of name? I think it was given to make it seem comedic and I think it worked very well as I do laugh everytime when I read it.
I feel the story is pretty bland because of the black hair male lead Erland and our female lead Nina. I think they do not have any chemistry and I don't see any reasons for her falling for the black hair dude. I would give it a bad ratings if she ends up with the black hair guy. As the story is still on-going so I'm going to wait for it to finish and will be back again to you guys and give a review of the full manhwa. So, if you want you can give it a try it's not that bad. The name of the manhwa is "The Stand-in Daughter Wants to Be Free" and it has 16 chapters at this moment.
