So I am currently watching The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World. I'm at episode 7 now, and my frustration is growing bigger as I move on to the next episodes. It started really good, you know. I thought it would be like Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, which is a comfort anime for me, but why did they have to add those women who act like a possessive girlfriend to the protagonist? It's really annoying. Hah! Sorry about that. I watched the first episodes of this anime, and it got me excited, so my expectations are quite high after watching it.

Anyways, about this anime, this is about a middle-aged man, Kenichi Hamada, who got transported into another world. He got accustomed to his new world almost immediately, like it's just normal. And he also got an amazing skills, Shangri-La, and an item box, and he used these skills to his advantage to survive in his new world. This is my kind of genre, to be honest. I really love isekai because I know that it will be an adventurous one, and I am so excited to see the otherworlders reactions to the new things that the main character may introduce to them, foods thing or just anythinf.

Another thing that got me pumped up for this anime is that his skills are really unique. I like the function where he can also sell things, just by putting things in his item box, he can do that. Yes, imagine one item can be sold for 200,000 yen, he can be rich in no time with that one function like it's super cool. Aside from that, he can also buy a lot of different things in that Shangri-La online shop, from self-assembly log cabins to backhoes. Like seriously, this man's using every resource available in that online shop. It's really cool, though.

Now for the animation, it's not that good, but I can still take that. Even the art style is so-so. If not for the adventure, I would already drop this for sure. But I really like how it's going right now. I also like that he can introduce new things to the people in this world, from a bike to drones, and there's food too. Actually, there's a lot more reason not to like this anime, in my opinion. I'm not saying it will be the same for others. I am planning to finish the whole season even with that, though. I just hope I won't see a new addition of a woman in the protagonist's life in the upcoming episodes.

I just feel like romance is really unnecessary in this series. It can be good even without all that drama, to be honest. I had to skip some parts because of that. I also find some characters really annoying in this series, but I won't mention who. For the fight scenes, it's just okay for me. I just find it funny when he used the backhoe as his weapon when fighting a monster, lol. There's really not much fighting in there. Ah, by the way, he introduced these items from the modern world as part of his skill "magic." And people just accepted it as it is.
So anyway, I'll give this anime 6.67 out of 10. There's a lot I don't like in this anime, but still, I enjoy it too.
Have you already watched this anime? What can you say about it?
