The Perfect Contract: Comedy, Chaos, and Chemistry - Manhwa Review

Today, I'm going to review another romance manhwa which has good amount of comedy and good storyline. The name is "The Perfect Contract" by seeing the name you can already guess what the story is going to be. There's going to be a couple who would make a contract between them and one of the rules is that they can't fall in love. So, it's very intriguing and I think people would love this type of stories. I'm not into this type of manhwa but still I'm enjoying it because of the comedy.

Plot Summary

The story follows Ju-i Hong who works at a pharmacy company, she lives alone but always has been stalked by a guy. The guy is unknown and often steals the personal belongings of Ju-i such as under garments. Before leaving the apartment permanently she wanted to take revenge on that stalker. Ju-i decided to catch the stalker and beat him up. She planned it with her younger brother. She had left a note where she had written that she wanna meet the guy and called him at a cafe.

She was waiting for that guy in the cafe, on the other hand a black haired tall handsome guy was set on a blind date by his mom. His name is Junwon, he was looking for the girl who his mom wanted him to meet. He saw Ji-U and thought she's the one. Ju-i had mistaken Junwon as the stalker and the moment she started interrogating him, he was about to leave but from behind Ji-U's brother and his friends pinned Junwon down. He was resisting and broke his hand watch.

Ju-i started to blame Junwon for his deeds which he didn't even do. Later the blind date arrived and she saved Junwon. Later Ju-i was embarrassed and also in fear to pay the money for his broken watch. Junwon has to leave so he wanted to take Ju-i's number but she gave her 1 week old number without realizing it. One misunderstanding after the next kept happening. Junwon was being pressurized to get engaged and on other hand Ju-i was in trouble. Both of them decided to date each other but not in real. It's going to be a contract between them where they will pretend like a couple but in real they won't love each other.

The question arises will they be able to control their feelings or fall in love?

Review

I believe if you're kept in a room with someone then you will eventually grow affection for them. I feel the same will happen between Ju-i and Junwon. They do make a good couple, I also like the comedic scenes they are so funny. I didn't expect this manhwa to have such comedies. Ju-i just embarrassed herself in every few chapters and it's amusing. I do not like full serious mode stories, a bit of fun is also required.

The misunderstandings between them is also cute. I feel they are made for each other. I truly have been waiting for a story like this which not only has good romance but also comedy. It's hilarious to see her getting 2nd hand embarrassment. I usually don't laugh but it is truly a good one. If you're feeling sad or anxious, this manhwa will boost up your energy. At first I thought it's the same old trope and it is but the storyline gives it justice.

The comedy begins from the very first chapter and it continues, I have not found any single chapter boring. Most of the times I scroll quickly but this time I really wanted to see the conversations between the characters because it's interesting and I don't want to miss a point. If you're not into this type of story where couple are faking relationship then it's not for you. Some people might be triggered by this so, I would suggest do not read it if you don't like this kind of trope.

There are many tropes like this manhwa but still I won't say that this manhwa is any better than others or anything. I just want to say every manhwa is good and it has it's own specialty. So, I would definitely suggest people to read this manhwa. My personal thought is that it's good and the art if fine not that good. I didn't find any exceptional clothing designs so can't say anything about the artstyle. But the faces could be a bit unique than other characters in the manhwa. My personal ratings for this manhwa would be seven out of ten.

Comedy, whether seen or read, can make a noticeable difference that attracts us. It strikes me that in manhwa, male characters are always given considerable height and even attractive physical features, such as abs, while the girls are shorter and very thin.

In every type of comic you will find guys having packs and girls with thin waist. Also you will not find protagonist with crooked nose or looking imperfect. They have nothing to do with reality so people draw them as they want haha, as audience likes to see delulu stuff.

luce interesante, muy buena de verdad, gracias por la recomendación
