Honestly, I had my expectations for this anime knowing that it was adapted by the same studio White Fox (the same one that adapted the MASTERPIECE that is Re:Zero), but it didn't disappoint me at all. Of course, from the beginning they make it clear to us that it is a satire on Isekai by placing us with an ugly and fat protagonist who, to top it all off, is an Absolute God. It removes the typical clichés of the handsome protagonist with his harem of girls and all that. But it also maintains the humor characteristic of these Isekai works.
I really liked the story, the development they give to the characters, and even the battles. There are some battles that look really good, personally. It's not a big deal, but it's not a bad anime either. I've seen some rubbish isekais, so this one is possibly among the best this season and this year, even.
Good review.
