This is really an interesting read.

You know, sometimes especially when we encounter challenges or fear, there are only two things involved, "it's either you face the fear and conquer or you run away from it".
To me I don't think either of those courses are easy, both the sciences and arts, it's just a matter of decision, this is where perseverance comes in, at times in life you just have to do what it takes to get where you want to be or become that person you want to become, even when you don't feel comfortable about the process.

Should I say, I had the same issue with further maths in my senior secondary school, I was too bad in that subject but I just kept moving knowing what I wanted, now I don't think I have anything to do with that subject again but I'm still chasing my dream career.

I'm sure this experience alone has helped you grow and become a better version of you. I'm glad you were able to share your experience here.
