HI @psicologopoeta, I am always happy to here anyone who appreciate the play of Paul Morphy! My chess mentor the best chess player I knew at the time, until I thought I was better, admired the play of Paul Morphy. He shared Paul Morphy books with me and we discussed and studied his play a lot.
Many thought his play was wild and spontaneous and it was but their was definitely a logic to it. I definitely attempted to model my play after him and I did for many years very successfully. Currently I am playing on a very diminished level. However I discovered the CrazyHouse variant and it allows me to play the Paul Morphy aggressive all out style of play.
So if you want to see my version of Paul Morphy play just review a few of my Crazyhouse games.😃
