Today, we played the 16th round of the Saturday Hive Chess. Unlike the previous week, I played better, but I still wasn’t able to win the U2000. Well, that’s because my last game didn’t count. As usual, I will review some of my games.
My game against Justola ended in a draw. We both played well, but I would have won if I hadn’t committed some critical blunders.
The most painful blunder is the one below. I should have played Kd7, but somehow, I missed it.
Again, I should have played bd3 here, but I made another blunder and played another move. I would have captured @justola’s Bishop twice and would probably have won the game.
I managed a draw and I think it is better than losing the game.

I enjoyed playing against Rosmarly. The first game ended in a draw. I won the second game, but sadly, it didn’t count. Rosmarly would have won this particular game, but somehow, she made a very big blunder.
I was so happy that she did that. Of course, anyone would be happy. After that blunder, I made sure I opened my eyes well.
You know the kind of game where you know that if you play a single wrong move, the opponent will seize the chance and turn the game around. So, we kept repeating the same move until the game ended in a draw.

I was so pained that this particular game did not count. I played beautifully well and managed to push Rosmarly to press the resign button. We both beserked, and I think Rosmarly was so eager to win before the time ran out that she started making blunders. Regardless, I played better and won the game.
