My children are making progress in learning chess. Especially my oldest, who, finally competitive, wanted to try Lichess again with a higher difficulty.
The draw determined that I would start attacking with White.
Not long after, he was ahead. He had exchanged the queen: By the way! He said it was to disrupt his opponent's strategy. For my part, I saw his own as well. Although, to tell the truth, his opponent had been gaining ground up until that point.
In the end, his strategy paid off. He gambled on converting a pawn into a queen. This allowed him to counterattack and set up checkmate.
My children are definitely making progress little by little. They can now take risks and think of more elaborate long-term moves.

Hola, amigos del ajedrez.
Mis hijos están avanzando en el aprendizaje del ajedrez. Sobre todo el mayor, quien, competitivo al fin, quiso probarse nuevamente en el Lichess con una mayor dificultad.

Sin duda alguna, mis niños están avanzando poco a poco. Ya pueden arriesgar y pensar jugadas más elaboradas a largo plazo.
