Tenía tiempo sin pasar por acá porque he estado full con tareas y mil cosas pendientes. Pero hace unos días me puse a organizar mi cuarto y la cajita donde guardo mis recuerdos. Entre tantas cosas, aparecieron unas entradas que me hicieron acordar de un lugar muy icónico de la isla, y quise venir a contárselos.
Primero debo mencionar, que, en la isla la vida diurna y la nocturna tienen su propio encanto. En el día todo es playa, brisa y sol intenso (demasiado intenso, de verdad quema), y en la noche la movida cambia completamente. Yo siempre he sido team nocturno.

It’s been a while since I stopped by here because I’ve been swamped with assignments and a thousand pending things. But a few days ago, I started organizing my room and the little box where I keep my memories. Among so many things, I found some tickets that reminded me of a very iconic place on the island, and I wanted to come share it with you.
First, I have to say that on the island, daytime and nighttime life each have their own charm. During the day, it’s all about the beach, breeze, and intense sun (way too intense—it really burns), and at night, the vibe completely changes. I’ve always been on team night.
Y una de las cositas que encontré, fueron entradas a una discoteca, que, para su momento, era muy famosa en la isla. Esta se llamaba Bora Bora, justo como pueden ver en esa entrada. Ubicada en un lugar privilegiado, en la hermosa Bahía del Concorde.
And one of the little things I found were tickets to a nightclub that, at the time, was very famous on the island. It was called Bora Bora, just like you can see on that ticket. It was located in a prime spot, in the beautiful Bahía del Concorde.
Entre 2015 y 2018, especialmente en Semana Santa, contrataban a un grupo de jóvenes para vender las entradas directamente en las playas de la isla donde suelen ir personas amantes de este tipo de ambientes. Y realmente, con esto, era un lugar que se llenaba mucho para esa época y sus entradas se vendían muy rápido.
Between 2015 and 2018, especially during Holy Week, they used to hire a group of young people to sell tickets directly on the island’s beaches, where people who love that kind of scene usually go. And honestly, because of that, it was a place that got super crowded around that time, and the tickets sold out really fast.
Con el tiempo, vinieron los cambios. Bora Bora cerró, la remodelaron y reabrió con otro nombre: Tao. La invitación que muestro aquí es justamente de su inauguración, pero la verdad, no recuerdo que haya tenido el mismo impacto. Pasó un tiempo y terminó cerrando otra vez.
With time, things changed. Bora Bora closed, they remodeled it, and reopened it under a new name: Tao. The invitation I’m showing here is actually from its opening night, but honestly, I don’t remember it having the same impact. Some time passed, and it ended up closing again.
Un rato más tarde, en ese mismo lugar, abren la famosa discoteca de ahora llamada Goa 007, que, si vives en Margarita, lo más probable es que hayas escuchado de ella, y si no, seguro has visto algún video por redes. Esta se ha convertido en una de las discotecas más visitadas en la isla por la población joven, turistas y hasta artistas y cantantes que han ido a dar alguna actuación y a pasar el rato.
A little while later, in that same spot, they opened the now-famous nightclub called Goa 007, which, if you live in Margarita, you’ve probably heard of, and if not, you’ve definitely seen a video of it on social media. It’s become one of the most visited clubs on the island by young people, tourists, and even artists and singers who’ve come to perform or just hang out.
Esas entradas me hicieron recordar mucho que cuando era pequeña decía que algún día iría a Bora Bora a bailar con mis amigos jaskajs. Y sí lo cumplí, solo que el sitio ya no se llamaba así, sino Goa 007, totalmente renovado y convirtiendose también en uno de los clubs más importantes de la isla.
Those tickets really reminded me that when I was little, I used to say that one day I’d go to Bora Bora to dance with my friends hahaha. And yes, I did make that dream come true—only the place wasn’t called that anymore, it was Goa 007, completely renovated and now also one of the most important clubs on the island.
