The farmers are most likely using that to make Silage from the corn. Is there much cattle or livestock in your area also? We get a lot of that in Northern California too 😀

        Yes, lots of cattle and livestock in our area. These, I think, are field corn. Don't the harvest them green when it is for silage? I don't know.

              You're right, I just looked and silage is supposed to be harvested green...so it must not be that.
