Hello friends and Wednesday walkers, happy Wednesday to you all!
I woke up today feeling a bit tired and restless. I don't know what that means, but I can only attribute it to staying indoors all day. So, I felt it was necessary to go out for a walk and unwind. Luckily, there was a constant power supply throughout the night, so I had the advantage of taking my fully charged phone with me to take as many pictures as I wanted.
Since I planned to unwind and get rid of that unfamiliar feeling of restlessness and laziness, I focused on the trees, flowers, and the cool morning breeze. I cleared my mind as much as I could to get rid of any thoughts that might distract me. I thought about the beautiful sky, the trees, and the calmness of the earth, and appreciated them all. After all, what are humans on earth without the presence of these things? They add colors to our world and give peace to whoever craves it.
I haven't walked a good distance in a long time, and the little pains in my legs reminded me of that. I knew I had to make a U-turn here, or else I'd have to find another way to get myself back home.
The benefits of a short walk like this shouldn't be overlooked. It's a simple exercise that purifies the mind, invigorates the body, and builds endurance. This walk was worth it and the best way to start my day.
I was surprised by how busy the street was at this time of day. There were lots of businessmen and women opening their shops, parents taking their kids to school, and bus conductors calling out for passengers. It reminded me of a week before last when I used to rush to catch a bus, hoping it would go as fast as possible so I wouldn't be late for my 8 am class.
I didn't check the time when I left home, but based on the timestamps of my photos, it seems like my walk lasted around 45 minutes. Afterward, I took a shower, had breakfast, and felt energized, free, and motivated to write this post.
The early morning breeze and its calmness were very therapeutic.
That will be all for today, thank you so much for your time and support.
Have a blessed Wednesday
