Andrés Carrillo used a mixture of natural stone and acrylic resin to withstand the strong Caribbean sun and rain. 25 years later, the mural looks freshly painted!
In our city, we have things and places of immense beauty—many of them steeped in rich history, with curious and striking elements… I often wonder how many people actually know this. Still, it’s wonderful that you’ve shared this walk, this piece of information, and that this enormous and beautiful mural is now immortalized here on Hive.
