Hello Wednesday Walk friends!
Today I'm joining the #WednesdayWalk challenge that my friend @tattoodjay invites us to do every Wednesday, and I want to share with you the photos I took during my little morning walk.
Despite the heavy rain yesterday afternoon, the day dawned bright, with a beautiful blue sky. After organizing everything related to my chocolate business, reviewing the production process, and checking on offers and orders, I decided to leave the house with my mom. We've been doing some legal paperwork for several days, and today we were scheduled to visit a nearby municipality, just five blocks from our house.

Hoy me sumo al reto de #WednesdayWalk que cada miércoles nos invita el amigo @tattoodjay, y quiero compartir con ustedes las fotos que tomé durante mi pequeño recorrido matutino.
A pesar de la intensa lluvia de ayer por la tarde, el día amaneció radiante, con un cielo azul hermoso. Luego de organizar todo lo relacionado con mi negocio de chocolates, revisar el proceso productivo y verificar las ofertas y pedidos, decidí salir de casa junto a mi mamá. Desde hace varios días estamos realizando algunas gestiones legales en su documentación, y hoy debíamos visitar un municipio cercano, a solo cinco cuadras de nuestra casa.
We took advantage of the short distance to walk and enjoy the splendor of nature. We quickly completed the errand, and on the way back, we took a different route that led us to a beautiful park, where we rested for a while as the sun was already quite strong. The colors of the flamboyant trees made it particularly beautiful, and in the background stood a large ceiba tree, a leafy tree that provided pleasant shade.
Aprovechamos la corta distancia para caminar y disfrutar del esplendor de la naturaleza. Terminamos el recado rápidamente y, de regreso, tomamos una ruta diferente que nos llevó a un hermoso parque, donde descansamos un rato, ya que el sol ya estaba bastante fuerte. Los colores de los flamboyán lo hacían particularmente hermoso, y al fondo se alzaba una gran ceiba, un árbol frondoso que proporcionaba una agradable sombra.
The park looked well-kept and was named Tulip Park, after the street name, because tulips aren't grown in Cuba, but the flamboyant trees made it look beautiful. A sculpture honoring Gustavo Sánchez Galarraga, a distinguished artist with many facets and grand ideas, was erected in the center of the park. We stopped for a moment to rest and appreciate the surroundings.
El parque se veía bien cuidado y se llamaba Parque de los Tulipanes, por el nombre de la calle, porque en Cuba no se cultivan tulipanes, pero los flamboyán le daban un aspecto hermoso. Una escultura en honor a Gustavo Sánchez Galarraga, un artista distinguido con múltiples facetas y grandes ideas, se erigió en el centro del parque. Nos detuvimos un momento para descansar y apreciar el entorno.
After a while, we continued our walk down Tulipán Street, where I ran into a group of young people who had transformed the sidewalk into an open-air gallery. Their paintings, though few in number, had a beauty that captured the gaze of everyone we passed by. I was pleasantly surprised by this impromptu exhibition.
Después de un rato, continuamos nuestro paseo por la calle Tulipán, dónde me topé con un grupo de jóvenes que habían transformado la acera en una galería al aire libre. Sus cuadros, aunque pocos, tenían una belleza que capturaba la mirada de todos los que pasábamos por allí. Me quedé sorprendida gratamente con aquella exposición improvisada.
I continued to enjoy the greenery of the plants, although the bright colors of the flowers sometimes appeared, making the walk very picturesque. Although I live in a central area, nature always finds a way to surprise me with its splendor. I couldn't resist taking some photos of this special setting.
Seguí disfrutando del verdor de las plantas, aunque a veces aparecían los brillantes colores de las flores, lo que hacía que el paseo fuera muy pintoresco. Aunque vivo en una zona céntrica, la naturaleza siempre encuentra la manera de sorprenderme con su esplendor. No pude resistirme a tomar algunas fotos de este entorno tan especial.
