Hello, friends on Wednesday's walk! I hope you had a day as wonderful as the one I enjoyed yesterday. After a busy day delivering the delicious chocolates from Chocolates Alile 🍫 and preparing the orders for today – making sure I had enough boxes and containers of all kinds! – I decided to give my pet a well-deserved walk. And so, without planning too much, my steps took me to a beautiful park on the other side of Paseo Avenue.
Hola, amigos de Wednesday Walk! Espero que hayan tenido un día tan maravilloso como el que yo disfruté ayer. Después de un día ajetreado entregando los deliciosos chocolates de Chocolates Alile 🍫 y preparando los pedidos para hoy – ¡asegurándome de tener suficientes cajas y contenedores de todo tipo! – decidí darle un merecido paseo a mi mascota. Y así, sin planearlo demasiado, mis pasos me llevaron hasta un hermoso parque al otro lado de la Avenida Paseo.
This park is a true green oasis in the middle of the city, it belongs to the PDL La Timba, it is a local development project to improve Environmental Hygiene, I had never walked there before. The lush vegetation, with imposing palm trees and a great variety of trees, make it an essential lung for the urban bustle. Carefully maintained planters are interspersed with numerous cement, wood and iron benches, creating perfect corners for rest and contemplation. The day was radiant, with a blue sky almost without clouds, which made the walk even more pleasant. The tranquility of the place, accentuated by the sparse influx of people at that time of the weekday afternoon, was palpable. The reigning silence invited reflection.
Este parque es un verdadero oasis verde en medio de la ciudad, pertenece al PDL La Timba, es un proyecto de desarrollo local para mejorar la Higiene Ambiental, nunca antes había caminado por allí. La frondosa vegetación, con imponentes palmeras y gran variedad de árboles, lo convierten en un pulmón imprescindible para el bullicio urbano. Jardineras cuidadas con esmero se intercalan con numerosos bancos de cemento, madera y hierro, creando rincones perfectos para el descanso y la contemplación. El día estaba radiante, con un cielo azul casi sin nubes, lo que hacía aún más agradable el paseo. La tranquilidad del lugar, acentuada por la escasa afluencia de gente a esa hora de la tarde entre semana, era palpable. El silencio reinante invitaba a la reflexión.
While I enjoyed the serene beauty of the surroundings and the peace it transmitted to me, my puppy took advantage of the opportunity to make new friends. He is a very playful dog and loves to socialize. I like to see him play and make friends with other dogs, as long as peace reigns in that process, which is a very rewarding moment for me.
Mientras yo disfrutaba de la serena belleza del entorno y de la paz que me transmitía, mi cachorro aprovechó para hacer nuevos amigos. Es un perro muy juguetón y le encanta socializar. Verlo jugar y hacer amigos con otros perros me gusta , siempre que reina la pz en ese proceso, resultando para mi un momento muy gratificante.
After a while of walking and contemplating the beauty of the park, we decided to head back home. On the way, we came across a house that had a garden where bougainvilleas of different colors and other species abounded. A true explosion of color! I was amazed by the variety and beauty of these flowers.
Después de un rato de caminar y contemplar la belleza del parque, decidimos poner rumbo de regreso a casa. De camino, nos topamos con una casa que tenía un jardín donde abundaban las buganvillas de diferentes colores y otras especies ¡Una auténtica explosión de color! Me quedé maravillada con la variedad y belleza de estas flores.
This little walk, after a day of work, has been a revitalizing experience. I hope that the photos I share with you of the multicoloured bougainvilleas in the garden and the park transmit to you the same serenity and joy as they do to me.
