Wednesday Walk 12.04.24 - "A Day Late" & "Still Blooming in December!?!?

Well my friends for this week's #wednesdaywalk I am posting a day late. Yesterday my recent bout with "Sciatica" stopped me in my tracks, so...
I did not post yesterday evening, not did I get around a lot yesterday.
But I wanted to post in the Community and do, I will post what I have!
(*BTW - doing better today!)
So yesterday while at the old house I was continuing to notice the phenomenon of plants blooming in December! This "is" really crazy, and I hope people are noticing. But maybe, nobody else is witnessing this phenomenon...
With that said, here is an "Angels Trumpet",

And to show you this is not a fluke, here is the plant,

Blooming like it was "July"!

And here is some "Shrimp Plants", also blooming!
This is a single that I saw by itself,

So very, very odd!

Well I left there and stopped at the Grocery Store on the way home. It took me 10 minutes to get from the truck to the store door - normally a minute walk. While outside this female "Mexican Blackbird" stopped to check me out hobbling...

And I got home and took this photo of a Zinnia flower at my house. Yep still blooming!

I am really wondering why this is happening, as the temperature is about the same as last year at this time...
