How are you, kind hive friends hope all is well. Thank you Wednesdaywalk Community by @tattoodjay. Sharing experience few days ago, precisely on May 16,2025, I and a group of 44 people rented a large bus, tourism to Pangandaran of West Java.
Our community is retired so most of them are over 60 years old, but it doesn't matter because their spirits are high. Pangandaran is one of the most famous beach tourist attractions in West Java. The distance traveled from where we departed in Sukabumi city is around 300 kilometers.

We left around 9 pm, on they way we took several breaks, and entered Pangandaran at around 7.30 am on May 17,2025. According to the committee's schedule,the first place to visit is Green Canyon Cukang Taneuh about 30 minute from Pangandaran and around 8 am, the group bus arrived at the tourist spot.
The bus was Parked in a place that had been prepared by the manager,the group got out of the bus then I and the group took a photo together. Green Canyon Cukang Taneuh is an ancient river with limestone cliffs that are million of years old.
Activities in this place the group is invited to explore the river, before the activity, I tried to walk in this area to Stretch my legs because I had been sitting on the bus since last night.
Then join the group at the pier, the boat has been prepared to carry the group. Limited to one boat boarded by six people and two helmsmen. The journey takes 30 minute to go and return. Along the river we can see river cliffs in the form of limestone old with various forms of rock.
I asked the helmsman, why is the river water brownish?, according to information from the boat helmsman, river water is usually green and clear. Because there is rain in the mountains, the river water becomes brownish, and they said this tourist spot is managed jointly by the government and the village.
The number of boats to take visitor along the river is 80 boats, during the holiday season, the helmsman can take visitor on up twenty trips in one day, and on normal days around Ten trips.
After fifteen minutes the boat stops under a fairly high curved rock, some friends got off the boat and climbed the rock to take photos.
After enough, the boat turns back to the return direction and is stopped off at the pier at the time of departure as the end of the river journey.
