Hello Wednesday walkers,
I went for a little walk to an nature area at the edge of the town of Almerimar Andalusia.
It's a wetland area next to the coast line and it consists out of sand dunes and low vegetation.
In the summer it is very nice out here because it's not as popular as the rest of the coastline around Almerimar. Here you don't go to if you want to be seen. You get more attention on the beach around the town center.
The walk started a little creepy. I thought there was a buoy washed ashore. One witch has got rope wrapped around it. But when I came closer I saw it was hair instead of rope, realizing it was a dead boar.
Now idea if it washed ashore ore that it is a boars form the mountains around this area. I have now idea if they come to the beach to feed. Not much there for them I think. And I don't know if they know how to fish.
It's the time of year with the long shadows. Well there are probably long shadows in summer to but maybe they stand out less. By then i'm already on the couch watching tv.
This is the path towards the wet land area. I hoped that I could see some birdies there.
Well it was a path in the beginning. It disappeared very quickly and I was walking in between the bush.
With a view on the mountains in the distance.
And there in the distance was the water. To bad I could find a place were I could get closer. Normally I would walk trough the thick bush but today I was walking the doggy. Here leggs ar not that tall so we went back to the car.
The town of Almerimar in the distance.
And the yellow cliffs next to the wetlands. From up there the view is awesome. I was looking for the pictures I took from there but they are still at home on my computer. I will probably go there again some day. I hope that day has got an awesome sunset.
