Wednesday walk around the city of Santander.

in Wednesday Walk5 days ago

Hello wednesday walkers,

this small walk brought me from the boulevard of Santander to the camper spot at the other side of the town! Yes, it was a pretty long walk as I remember. But it did took me long tie because I was busy taking pictures of it all.

I starting to show you all the colorful buildings that I spotted along the route.

And in the city is also a lot of quality street-art around. that is always nice to see the art of the local artists.

I took this picture to show you how steep some of the roads are. It doesn't show up well in the photo, but I was very happy that they had built this tunnel.

There also was pretty cool street-art above the tunnel. I like it when they do it like this.

This pavement leays around a cultural centrum that I came across. But at the outside of the building were some nice artworks that I want to show you in the street-art comunity. I will make a post about that later.

Here is a sneak peak of the art.

At the other side of the tunnel was a nice water fountain on the roundabout. Well, when it works it would be a nice one I think.

And a little bit further I saw this futuristic building appear on the horizon.
A golden sphere structure on top of a glass facade.

When I came closer I heard kids playing around inside. One door was slightly open and there I saw children exercising gymnastics. I asked a guy if i could take a quick peak inside but they were closed to the public. He told me the building also functions as a sporting museum. not my cup of tea so I went back to my van.

And I was just on time back at the van for a nice sunset. to bad I forgot to take a picture of the campsite. It was just a parking and there were about 50 camper cars packed to each other. That's also vanife.

Wow very nice photos and city, the ship on the wall is the best, it must have been so difficult to paint perfectly over that huge wall

I think they need a big lader for that indeed 😅

It's a beautiful place. I love the pristine architecture. The skies look really inviting.

It's a very inviting city

Nice places 👏👏

The tunnel street art is so cool! Looks like a nice city to explore by foot too!
