The history lesson was fascinating. When you said, "All that you see was built after 1811." it reminded me of how young America is. The state I live in, Minnesota, didn't come into existence until 1858. I'm just blown away by the beauty and art there in your city. It's a little like Montreal, a little like Lisbon but mostly has its own unique character.
