I've had an interesting Tuesday, although that means it's been a little more hectic than I usually like. You know, I like calm days, I'm the kind of person who isn't very given to strong emotions anymore, and I like things to flow smoothly. But today hasn't been like that at all. I woke up to a major power outage, luckily the service came back quickly, and we were able to cook and fix things around the house early.
After this start, which is like jumping out of bed to run while the services are working, I sat down to review information for my brother. His computer recently burned down with one of the power supply fluctuations, so he is trying to repair the parts of his computer. But there are so many burned components in his power supply, that it makes us fear that the situation warrants replacing the computer.
It happens that here, the replacement of a component or the price of a computer part, can cost you the same as a complete computer. It sounds absurd, but it is the reality we have. So I think that, soon, everything we have converted (into weak Fiat currency) will be used to buy a new PC.

He tenido un martes interesante, aunque eso significa que ha sido un poco más agitado de lo que suele gustarme. ¿Sabes? Me gustan los días calmados, soy del tipo de persona que ya no está muy dado a la emoción fuerte, y me gusta que las cosas fluyan con tranquilidad. Pero hoy no ha sido del todo así. Me desperté con una fuerte falla eléctrica, por suerte el servicio regresó rápido y pudimos cocinar y arreglar las cosas de la casa temprano.
Luego de este inicio, que es como saltar de la cama para arrancar a correr mientras funcionan los servicios, me senté a revisar información para mi hermano. Hace poco se quemó su computadora con una de las fluctuaciones del suministro eléctrico, así que él está tratando de reparar las piezas de su computadora. Pero hay tantos componentes quemados en su fuente de poder, que nos hace temer que la situación amerita cambiar la computadora.
Sucede que acá, el repuesto de un componente o el precio de una pieza de la computadora, puede que te cueste lo mismo que una computadora completa. Suena absurdo, pero es la realidad que tenemos. Así que creo que, dentro de poco, todo lo que tenemos convertido (en moneda Fiat débil) será usado para comprar una nueva PC.

Mejor dejemos de contar las cosas del día, no hay muchas cosas bonitas para compartir, prefiero saltar al tema de la efeméride que escogí revisar hoy. Además de que suenan truenos por mi ventana, y en cuanto caiga la tormenta es muy probable que me quede sin servicios de nuevo, toca entonces apurarse.
Hoy se celebra un día dedicado al tema de la #salud en su sentido preventivo. Al igual que en los casos de mantenimiento, la idea de que “prevenir es mejor que reparar” es algo muy acertado. Es una fecha destinada a celebrar el Día Mundial de la Higiene.
