Day of 2025-01-14

Starting the day with a morning jog always feels like a win, setting the tone for productivity and focus. The discipline of hitting the trail pays off. It’s not just about fitness but also the mental reset that comes from being outdoors, pushing through the initial resistance to embrace the flow.

A morning jog truly is the best #investment in oneself to kickstart the day on a positive note.

Yesterday was all about diving deeper into #lighthive and enhancing its functionality. By incorporating block streaming instead of relying on API calls, the efficiency and performance of interactions improved noticeably. It’s fascinating to see how small adjustments in coding approaches can yield such significant results.
Working on these improvements felt like crafting something both useful and efficient, adding to the satisfaction of contributing to a robust ecosystem.

$LTC continues to dominate the trading volume, making it a staple in my daily market activities. The consistent flow of opportunities it provides has been unmatched, offering steady gains even amidst fluctuations.

Watching the patterns unfold and capitalizing on them is both thrilling and rewarding.

A significant decision yesterday was shifting my delegation from #tipu to another #curator promising an additional 20% APR. While #tipu has been a trusted platform, it felt like the right time to explore other opportunities that align better with current goals.
Choosing the right #curator involves weighing reliability, returns, and community value, making this move a calculated risk. The anticipation of higher returns adds excitement to the decision, but only time will tell if it was the right call.
This shift is part of an ongoing strategy to maximize the impact of every asset, ensuring each piece of the portfolio works as hard as possible.

Hi there, glad your fitness and work is going well. Please could you educate me on what LightHive is?

!IDD Absolutely. As far as I know there a two #python libraries for $HIVE.
There is beem and lighthive.

https://github.com/holgern/beem/tree/master

https://github.com/emre/lighthive/

The beem is a full fledged library with most things encapsulated in #classes.

Lighthive is just some class for account, hive and operations, anything else are just simple dictionary. Lighthive is nice to stream blocks. The eventlistener is super nice.
https://lighthive.readthedocs.io/en/latest/helpers.html#eventlistener-helper

Beem is like deprecated last change like at the inception of $HIVE, but lightwight saw changes to its code last year.

Commentrewarder: A New System to Reward Commenters [Reminder]

Normally, by commenting under any HIVE post, we receive rewards if our comments get upvotes and the reward is above the dust threshold. A new system has been developed where an author can share part of his or her rewards with the commenters. The project is designed to encourage engagement within the HIVE ecosystem. Read the announcement post here to learn the details.

To reward the commenters, the author needs to set @commentrewarder as a beneficiary. If someone comments under that post and the comment receives an upvote from the author within 3 days, the commenter will receive the reward. The rewards will be distributed in liquid HIVE after 7 days.

To get an idea on which authors are more rewarding, follow the transaction history of commentrewarder
