Alive and Thriving Friday afternoon - "Blackbird Flock"!

Today I was out on the bike and caught this swarm of Mexican Blackbirds Flying by and landing!
I liked how the photos came out and wish to share them with you!
Here is where the first two landed,

Here is zoomed out and you can see them in the tree,

A little closer next to the stream,

And a bit from the side,

And from the tree top. As you can see, quite a few of them decided to just land right there! They were also quite loud - which chased all the normal Sea Birds away!

That was it for the afternoon -

Blood sugar units

It's important to remember that blood sugar can be measured in two units: mmol/L and mg/dl. Many diabetic patients have a glucometer at home, which displays one of these units. This can confuse patients who are unfamiliar with the other unit when they see the result. It's important to note that both units are correct, and they simply represent the measurement in different ways.

Converting between the two units is fairly simple using the following formulas: mmol/L × 18 = mg/dl and mg/dl ÷ 18 = mmol/L. For example, if a blood sugar reading is 5 mmol/L, it can be converted to 90 mg/dl (5 × 18). Conversely, if the blood sugar level is 150 mg/dl, it can be converted to 8.3 mmol/L (150 ÷ 18).
