Looks like the last week was not good for Gurseerat. She got her knee hurted and now she has another injury on her finger. I was in office when I got call form my wife's number and Gurseerat was on other side. She called me to tell me the story how she injured her finger in school. She was sharpening the pencil and unfortunately she got a small cut on finger done the sharpner blade. I was not knowing how deep was the cut and TT injection is required or not. Just to prepare her I told her on phone itself that may be we have to visit the doctor and may be doctor give her injection. She immediately says no, I promised her that I will give her a treat when we will come back form clinic. On hearing this she agreed to visit doctor and also for the injection if required.
When I reached home I checked her finger and come to know that the cut was not at all harmful. But now Gurseerat want to visit doctor so that she will got treat as promised. Just for the safety I decided that it's ok if she got the TT injuction. This will also protect her in future also if she again got injured form any metal piece.
We reached the doctor's clinic at around 6.30 PM but their were three patients waiting for their turn before us and for our turn it will take some time for sure. After almost 45 min they receptionist called us and we meet the doctor and tell her the story. To see Gurseerat's excitement doctor was also surprised. She asked to her subordinate also that st first' time she is seeing a kid excited for the injuction. I clarified doctor that she is excited for the treat not for the injuction. That make us all laugh.
Doctor asked for the vaccine card of her and unfortunately I was not carrying the same. Doctor want to ensure if she has vaccinated on 5th year of her age. I know she does. As per doctor she do not need any TT injection till the age of 10 year. That was new information for me. Sharing some pics of her when we were waiting in the reception area fof clinic.

लगता है कि पिछला हफ्ता गुरसीरत के लिए अच्छा नहीं रहा। उसके घुटने में चोट लग गई और अब उसकी उंगली में भी चोट लग गई है। मैं ऑफिस में था जब मेरी पत्नी के नंबर से मुझे कॉल आया और गुरसीरत दूसरी तरफ थी। उसने मुझे कॉल करके बताया कि स्कूल में उसकी उंगली में चोट कैसे लग गई। वह पेंसिल शार्प कर रही थी और दुर्भाग्य से शार्पनर ब्लेड से उसकी उंगली में छोटा सा कट लग गया। मुझे नहीं पता था कि कट कितना गहरा था और टीटी इंजेक्शन की जरूरत है या नहीं। उसे तैयार करने के लिए मैंने उसे फोन पर ही बताया कि शायद हमें डॉक्टर के पास जाना पड़े और हो सकता है कि डॉक्टर उसे इंजेक्शन दे। उसने तुरंत मना कर दिया, मैंने उससे वादा किया कि जब हम क्लिनिक से वापस आएंगे तो मैं उसे ट्रीट दूँगा। यह सुनकर वह डॉक्टर के पास जाने और जरूरत पड़ने पर इंजेक्शन लगवाने के लिए तैयार हो गई। जब मैं घर पहुंचा तो मैंने उसकी उंगली चेक की और पता चला कि कट बिल्कुल भी नुकसानदायक नहीं था। लेकिन अब गुरसीरत डॉक्टर के पास जाना चाहती है ताकि उसे वादे के मुताबिक इलाज मिल सके। सुरक्षा के लिए मैंने फैसला किया कि अगर उसे टीटी इंजेक्शन लग जाए तो कोई बात नहीं। इससे उसे भविष्य में भी सुरक्षा मिलेगी, अगर वह फिर किसी धातु के टुकड़े से घायल हो जाती है। हम शाम करीब 6.30 बजे डॉक्टर के क्लिनिक पहुंचे, लेकिन वहां हमसे पहले तीन मरीज अपनी बारी का इंतजार कर रहे थे और हमारी बारी आने में निश्चित रूप से कुछ समय लगेगा। लगभग 45 मिनट के बाद रिसेप्शनिस्ट ने हमें बुलाया और हम डॉक्टर से मिले और उन्हें कहानी सुनाई। गुरसीरत का उत्साह देखकर डॉक्टर भी हैरान रह गईं। उन्होंने अपने अधीनस्थ से भी पूछा कि पहली बार उन्होंने एक बच्चे को इंजेक्शन के लिए उत्साहित देखा है। मैंने डॉक्टर को स्पष्ट किया कि वह इंजेक्शन के लिए नहीं, बल्कि इलाज के लिए उत्साहित है। यह सुनकर हम सभी हंस पड़े। डॉक्टर ने उसका वैक्सीन कार्ड मांगा और दुर्भाग्य से मेरे पास वह कार्ड नहीं था। डॉक्टर यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहते थे कि उसने अपनी उम्र के 5वें वर्ष में टीका लगवाया है या नहीं। मुझे पता है कि उसने लगवाया है। डॉक्टर के अनुसार उसे 10 साल की उम्र तक किसी भी टीटी इंजेक्शन की ज़रूरत नहीं है। यह मेरे लिए नई जानकारी थी। जब हम क्लिनिक के रिसेप्शन एरिया में इंतज़ार कर रहे थे, तब की कुछ तस्वीरें शेयर कर रहा हूँ।
