Hello friends of Hive, how are you? I'm doing very well. Today I don't bring you a video game, but a game of Monopoly that I played yesterday with my family.

In my house since we were little board games have been a great way to share in family, and my sister Miranda and I like them a lot and we have many of them too, like Clue, Pictionary, Scrabble, Jenga, Twister, among many more, but without any doubt our favorite game is Monopoly, the best thing about the game is that it lasts a long time which allows us to spend a lot of time together as a family playing our favorite board game.
As a rare thing I always have to arrange the board because Miranda acts crazy and says she doesn't know how to assemble it or distribute the initial money, although sometimes she helps me, but only to take the game out of its box, and after assembling everything, distributing the money, arranging the characters and placing the cards of chance and communal ark where they go starts the game, in our case starts the one who gets the highest number with the dice, a pretty fair rule.

When we had been playing for a while everyone already had at least 2 or 3 properties, while I didn't have a single property, until later I managed to get 4 properties, but each one was of a different color, which was useless to me, but that happened because my sister and my dad started to buy properties of the same color as mine, which forced me to make exchanges later on, which is the interesting part of all this.
To be able to exchange we have a rule that is that until all the properties are sold we don't do business, and in this game I was very lucky because I had one of the dark blue ones and Miranda had the other one, and those are the most expensive properties in the game, but she decided to mortgage it because she needed money and I took advantage and bought it to be able to set up houses and hotels, but there they are quite expensive, just to set up a house is 200$ a little expensive but the rental price is great. And since I had practically no properties, I had money.

In that game my dad wanted to annoy us by buying the last property of the colors that we all lacked, although he was not gathering them, but in the end he lost out because it just fell on my property which at that time was about $ 1000 the rent.
Something funny that happened is that Miranda unintentionally saw a chance letter and it was the one that said that it was time to move the chip for the Tablado walk, which was one of my most expensive properties and obviously no one wanted to fall in chance, and we were all trying not to fall, and it was my dad's turn, he had to sell almost everything but he managed to survive 🤣

But it did not help him much because the next time he left because he fell again and there he lost everything, but the truth is that he deserved it for buying the properties that we were missing without needing them, just for pure evil 😅
Later my mom also fell too, she managed to solve, but the second time she also left because she already had a hotel, and the rent of the Tablado walk with hotel is $2000 (a lot of money), and when we were finishing she had a lot of property with hotels so Miranda decided to give up in the end because she only had 6 properties.

So thanks to the fact that I bought the Boardwalk I managed to win, that's why whenever we play we always avoid at all costs that someone manages to buy both and sometimes we even buy it no matter how expensive it is just so they don't put them together because basically it's a death sentence for the others, and that's how I defeated everyone in this game of monopoly, but it was a rare victory, because we have another rule for us which is whoever wins collects the game, so I had to put it together and also collect it, and you have to keep it tidy 🫠
I hope you liked our game of Monopoly that I was able to play with my family.
