Hello friends of Hive, how are you? I am very well and visiting for the first time this Hiver community @mipiano where we can talk about everything we do in the summer vacations.
Where I live, which is Venezuela, these are the longest vacations at school because they last from July to October and the good thing is that my dad is also on vacation and we are free at home and we take the opportunity to go to the beach and to the malls but we are also at home and we watch a lot of movies and what we like the most which is to play board games but when we are in class we don't have so much time to play.
We have many games like Monopoly, Scrabble, Ludo, Clue, Pictionary, which are the ones we like the most, but we have a lot of them and these days we went to spend the day in a swimming pool and we took two of them, Scrabble and Pictionary, but only my mom and dad played Scrabble because we didn't want to leave the pool, but after lunch as we were very full we had to rest and the four of us (my dad, my mom, my sister and me) started to play Pictionary, which we like that game because it's really fun.
There you have to play as a team and you have to draw what comes up on the cards, and each time you guess you advance until you reach the end of the board and that team is the winner. This time my mom teamed up with Miranda and I had to play with my dad and I knew I was going to lose because my dad is a terrible drawer and it's hard to guess.
My mom and my sister started winning and we were late and we almost couldn't guess because I didn't paint very well either and there are some turns where everyone paints at the same time and my sister and my mom always win because my mom paints well and fast.
In the end they won but we still had fun and had a good time because we also had candy and soft drinks and after we finished we got back in the pool and then we got out when we were going home.
Today we wanted to go to the beach but since last night it's been raining so we had to stay, but my mom, since it's children's day, made us a nice breakfast and we have been watching some Star Wars series that my sister, my dad and I like a lot and I think that's what we are going to do today because it's still raining and the sky is cloudy.
