How time flies, I can't believe it's eight weeks already, it feels like the newbies initiative started just yesterday "not yesterday though".
Words can't describe the way I'm feeling right now, don't worry I won't sound emotional. Firstly I wanna say a big thank you to the organizer @starstrings01 and his amazing team behind this initiative, thank you so much for sacrificing your time and effort in making this initiative a success, without you, there wouldn't have been a newbie initiative and I say " thank you" for your endless support during this eight weeks.
One thing that is constant in life they say is "change" and the words growth and change are relative cause when someone has grown it means there have been some changes in the person's life, even in our career when there is growth it means there were some changes. I believe you can't grow by staying at the spot, you grow by experiencing certain shifts and that means change.
Looking back right now at where I started from, I can tell I have made some progress because I wasn't on the same level when the initiative started, there have been some changes, my number of followers changed, my reputation changed and my HP changed as well though they didn't get to the anticipated number from my goals but then what matters most is the shift attained.

Not being on the same level practically means I made some progress in the course of this initiative and for that I'm grateful.
My experience during these eight weeks of the newbies initiative was constant learning, I thought hive wasn't that broad that I could easily find my way but then I was wrong, hive is vast, and on hive, you learn something new every day and that's why the lectures aren't boring cause you'd be faced with different topics every week.
At some point, the initiative started becoming challenging and tough cause I wasn't meeting up with the tutorial due to my schedule at the moment but then with the help of my team leader @oluwadrey and some other newbies that I'd reached out to whenever I'm finding something difficult, they would always come through for me with enough explanation, that would enable me to carry out my tasks, in all the experience was great and worth every time spent.
What I learned
The one thing that comes to my mind is "consistency", people will say "Rome wasn't built in a day" and that has to do with humans as well, consistency is key to growing on hive, sometimes the income doesn't meet our expectations but then when you are consistent and committed to putting your time and effort it will pay off with good fortunes, I learned to be consistent and patient on the platform.
For a while before the initiative, I've been meaning to learn how to create incredible designs using Canva, I think that was one of my goals for the year but the newbies initiative made me attain that goal in less than two months, the lecture for the thumbnail was done in the first week of the initiative (how amazing) and thanks to the lecturer for that tutorial.
I got to learn about the do's and don'ts of hive which is very important if I want to grow on the blockchain, that will enable me to stay on track with whatever I'm doing and not violate the rules. I learned about a lot of things, if I mention everything I learned I don't think this task would have a conclusion.
I don't think I have many things to add to the initiative cause with my experience in the course of these eight weeks I have concluded that the newbie's initiative is great, the one thing I would love to contribute, I feel like a lot of persons don't know about this initiative and more awareness needs to be created.
