Guess what? I survived.

Believe me when I say our phones have become a huge part of our lives thereby making daily living smooth. I can remember the late part of last year when my phone got screen issues; I thought I could manage the phone with the screen acting up like that because, guess what, it's a Samsung phone, and you know the things that could go wrong with a Samsung phone especially when something bad happens to the screen.

But then I will still applaud myself because I tried and guess what? "I managed it right" till the phone told me something that I would never forget or show because the phone can't talk, right? So the phone showed that no matter how hard I try to manage its bad condition if something wants to go wrong, it will always go wrong.

Still enveloped with that negativity I didn't give up rather I handled everything with care but then one fateful morning the phone just went blank, I tried the techniques I was using on it to see if it was gonna work again but this time around all to no avail, I was back to being in the phoneless category. That morning of this incident, I had a different feeling that I didn't know existed.

I kept my calm and told myself I could survive this phase of my life, and besides, what about the old days when I didn't have a phone? I still lived happily and was smiling up and down with people. Those words of affirmation kept me going, but I thought it was gonna take me to a good destination. To my greatest surprise, it didn't; mood swings started stepping into my life, and it was taking the lead.

Let me come out clean and plain; well, I didn't feel that bad, though, because I had my computer, and it was covering that space a little, and I wasn't left at the edge of running out in the rain and screaming that my phone is bad. I think after a week or two, I purchased a new phone, and that vacuum was filled with happiness again.

Those moments taught me something I didn't know about myself; it taught me that I can actually do a day or two without my phone when I usually tell people that my phone has become my safe space and comfort zone. That comfort that keeps me going every day, that smile I derive whenever I'm going through feeds on different social media platforms, I always tell people that the number one thing is to have a smartphone and the other thing that follows is to have data, and my dear, you are good to go.

There is no time to be sad forever when you have those things, except you are the saddest type and nothing makes you happy; even comedy can't crack something inside of you.

I've been tested and trusted that I can go for an hour or two without my phone and that won't hurt me.

Thanks for reading 🧡

That's what I said that it is when the phone spoils that you know there's no option than to stay without it, but if it was working perfectly, you wouldn't even bother to drop it. 😂

If it's working, there is always the option to stay with it. You are right

Guy!!! When your phone goes bad, that's when you'd realize those little things around you 😂

That is very true. You are very correct dear
