Animals as an essential species.

The moment I saw this topic, a memory I had just flashed in my head, so I'm gonna share it.

I can't remember the exact time it happened, let's just say a few years back, I was at my aunty's place when she got back from the market and asked me to assist her in the kitchen. I accepted the offer "because the kitchen has a lot of good things to offer," so she brought out snails and asked me to clean them for her.

Normally, I know how to clean snails. "Well, back then, I didn't know how to," so blame it on the past. I didn't know how to remove it from the shell, so I went outside, picked up a very strong stone, and started hitting it on the snail when my aunty walked and was like, "Stop that." What are you doing? I replied that I was trying to bring out the snails from the shell it was in.

She continued, "Don't you know what you are doing is animal abuse?" Immediately, I paused for a while and tried to understand what she just said better. Then she said, "You don't know animals have the basic right to be treated morally, and that right must be respected." At that moment, I took the stone back to wherever I picked it from and dumped it there.

There has also been a lot of debate concerning the subject matter "which is yet to be concluded." Some people contend that animal experiments can be replaced by machines which is an alternative: "Well, some persons have placed so much importance on animals, thereby refusing them to face any sort of pain".

There are a lot of reasons why these animals are being used to carry out human-related experiments because animals possess similar features as humans. "Too bad there are no alternatives," and there is no doubt these experiments have helped scientists in providing solutions to certain diseases affecting the human race.

Scientists are in the era of trying to provide alternative solutions to the use of machines in detecting human-related diseases instead of using animals as an experimental project, but then how useful will such a machine be even if it is being created, "how accurate would it be" in detecting diseases?

We know how machines can sometimes be; it isn't one hundred percent guaranteed due to the malfunction feature involved, and they cannot accurately detect human-related diseases, so at this point, the use of machines won't be possible because such machines can't replicate the behavioral aspect of the human body. I believe if there was an alternative to the use of animals in experiments, animals wouldn't be used any longer, it's because there are proper alternatives yet.

In conclusion, The use of animals in detecting human disease and providing solutions to the human race through experiments will always be in use and cannot be replaced by any technological creation because animals possess human features which has made it easy for scientists to detect a problem. The only thing that can be done is to reduce the use of animals.

Thanks for reading 🧡

Although these animals have feelings but then humans are still priceless than them so for the time being up until science comes up with something else animals will still be used as practice to save human race.

Yeah, you are very correct; we are waiting for science to come up with an alternative to stop using animals as experimental objects.

Animal abuse kor?😭😂😂

I thought we all broke the shell to use and remove the snail?😭

What more abuse can be given to an animal you're about to cook?

Yes, oo 😃 😃 😃 I swear down, you know they normally use nail and a knife to remove it from the shell.

It's a shame that this type of method causes so much pain, but I sincerely hope you're wrong and that one day other ways will be found for medicine to advance without using animals.

I hope I'm wrong, too, but then it would be nice if the usage of animals for experiments could be stopped.

Nice ...
The things is, if scientists reduces the use of animal for experiments. I believe there will be less production of drugs and discovery of medicine...

Yeah. But then using these animals often isn't too good though what if we ran out of animals 🤔 just thinking out loud.

That is true..
You really sound like you are a zoologist..

but I love animals, but I need to eat some of them 😄

That's the thing 😃 😃
