Everyone's behavioral attitude has to do with the kind of brought up we had and still having and we tend to live by it till adult stage,
I was about to jump straight to your comment and contradict this until I decided to chill and read further.

though some people changes due to some external influences but a lot of people behave according to the morals instill in them right from their respective homes.

But of my morals have nothing to do with my home bringing. It has to do with what I feel comfortable with. My mum gives so much either she has surplus or not but as for me, I only give when I have to spare because of how I also see the world.
