Going on adventures is what I feel we humans need the most because it is a time to chill, rethink and reflect on the happenings of life. We here in Nigeria really need stuffs like this but most times, when we start planning these, we begin to think of the expenses involved with it and if you are like me that likes the comfort of the bed, you then will begin to find excuses as to why you can't go.

On the first task from the hive learners community, we are being tasked to write on an adventure we'd like to go on if money (the major issue) is made available. Well this is my own entry who knows if they want to sponsor some of us lol. On the context of adventure, I am not talking about going to slay a dragon or go rescue a princess in a high tower or look for a secret treasure somewhere. I just mean doing something different, something I can't do on a daily basis.

I have always wanted to just go off the radar even if it is for a day or for 6 months twice a year😁. It's not that I am one important person that will be missed but I myself have my own demons which I am battling with. Going off the radar will just be to restructure myself, catch my breath, meet new people, explore and try out new things.

Here are my list of the things I have dreamt of doing.

Yes, this is one of the first thing I will like to do. Although it won't be my first time going to the city but I would like to go there again as an adult because the last time I was there, I was barely 18 years of age and not exposed. Please don't get any dirty thoughts there oo lol 😆 but my major reasons for wanting to visit this fun city one of which is due to their carnival. I just want to experience the amazing Calabar carnival for myself. My sister and I planned on going together but she's out of the picture now maybe I will go alone.

Another reason is to visit the famous Obudu cattle ranch. I have heard so much about this place when I was little and would like to experience it myself because why not do it when I am within its state.

For a person that hasn't entered plane and is afraid of heights, you'd be left wondering why this is on the list. Trying this out is one of my ways of truly trying to push myself away from my height phobia. That's after I have to check the box of entering a plane without having hypertension in mid air or fainting. I don't know if this will be possible though but it is on my bucket list.

Have you ever slept under the night sky all through the night in the wild before? Well I haven't also. When I talk about the wild, I don't mean evil forest or bushes here in my country oo. I guess while being adventurous, one should also put safety in place. On that note maybe a controlled safe environment but what might make me reconsider this is too much western movies of the danger that happens when you sleep in the wild.

Well, if the dangers can be adverted, I will like to try this out but I will know that I am going with a lot of insect repellant and would have read a lot on animal behaviors.
