RE: Destigmatizing Early Sex Education

in Hive Learners10 days ago

I agree, parents should maybe give even just a bit of information about sex. Maybe they can find the right words to teach them that. And it should also be at school, where learning start. Its that one topic that we should never be ashamed talking especially if it will gives kids the info they needed. Some curious kids had no choice but to ask someone else, or even a strangers. And what if those strangers has bad intention? The kids will be taught something different for sure. I remember, I only learn about sex by reading romance pocketbooks. It made me curious especially the feelings and emotions involves in it. Good thing is even though i'm curious, thats not enough reason for me to actually try it. Lol.

Thank you so much for your valuable comment, Ruff. Your response corroborates my stance on the topic and I'm happy to know there are other people like you who understand the importance of early sex education and learning from safe guardians.

I also had to learn about sex through books and self research. It's the reason I'll make sure the kids around me never have to do it alone. Sending you hugs.🫂
