Making a decision is a personal business, it's something that should be taken seriously because whatever the consequences of your decision may be faced with you alone. Even when your decision is triggered by friends and families, whatever the outcome especially if it's negative, you will dance to the tune yourself. Decision-making is a difficult task that requires one to be extra careful when doing so, there are times when some decisions made cannot be reverted.

People give advice based on their experiences but not all the time does the advice work if you are given advice, the best thing to do is to sit, weigh the advice, and use your discretion to work on the advice to see whether it is profitable to you or not. When making decisions, I do take my time to look at both the positive and negative outcomes of it. However, there are times when unforeseen circumstances set in on the decisions we make as humans and it becomes unbearable for us. It takes a ready mind to make strong and difficult decisions in life and you will know that whatever the outcome of your decision may be, you are ready to dance to the tune.
When making decisions, I always try as much as possible to have a prepared mind just in case anything unpleasant happens in the long run. By doing this, I would have created an unshakable stand for myself making me focus on that decision that I have made. With this, I won't get distracted by any difficulties I might face on my way to achieving success in the decisions that I have made.
Making a major decision can be tasking at times because of the fear of disappointment. I do take my time to prepare enough for anything at all, before I started my business, it was something I'd had in mind for three months. Making my research on how it's been done, the do's and don'ts of the business, how to improve my customer base, how to start with little or no capital, and management skills not to run into debt. After I was sure that I was done learning, I notified my parents about my decision, and even though I was advised against it, I stood with my decision ready to face whatever repercussions came with it, and today I am glad I took that decision.
Coping with disappointment it's another difficult thing to put up with because after all the deliberations and determination to make a decision and in the end it leads to disappointment, bouncing back on one's feet can be difficult. If my decision didn't go as planned, I do have a prepared mind that whatever the outcome may be, I am ready to take it and start all over again. I decided to go to nursing school then and my decision was strong enough to push me through but unfortunately I could not make it. I was disappointed quite alright and it shook me a bit but I had to stand up on my feet and never give up to defeat. I couldn't make it to nursing school anymore because their fees became outrageous but I made a decision to go via another means to achieve what I wanted and that started my journey into auxiliary nursing and I'm glad I made the decision.
When I get disappointed, I don't give up, it serves as a ladder for me to my success and this is the beauty in decision making. Being ready to face the consequences of your actions, and standing firm by your decision, not getting swayed by anyone's advice or counsel.
