I believe the world is getting to a point that we have to include machines or artificial intelligence in one or two things that we want to do and we have also seen it as a norm. Also, the rate at which artificial intelligence is snatching our jobs is really alarming and I have even gotten to realize that a lot of people now prefer to get something done with the help of artificial intelligence instead of being helped by someone like them.
There was a time I was always thinking that there are some jobs which artificial intelligence cannot replace because it has to do with human intelligence but we now have humanoid robots that acts like humans and can do maybe almost everything humans do. It’s really crazy but there is surely going to be a difference in what God created and what human being has done.
It is now obvious that any job can be replaced by artificial intelligence and I feel this is where smartness comes in. In whatever we do, we just have to be outstanding so that no matter how much or well the AI tries, we’d still be better. At the same time, I find this confusing because there is nothing Google doesn’t know. It even knows what is happening around us better than us and that’s so surprising. How do we even get to outsmart something that knows our vicinity better than us? I just feel this is a rhetorical question cos I also do not have an answer to it but I’m confused more than any other thing right now.
What will I do if artificial intelligence takes my job?
Honestly, I wouldn’t know what to do but I’m sure that I will be in a confused state of mind. Well, the best thing is to keep going because there are still a lot of people out there who would prefer the job done by a human to that of AI so just find the right client.
It’s crazy and can be discouraging though especially for the fact that people can now get so many things from the AI for free instead of them to pay you so that you can also earn a living but they chose to give the job to AI.
Also, the economy is crazy and people now will prefer to pay less for a job or not even pay at all by using AI instead of paying for what they want but one thing is certain which is that humans will always be smarter than machines. If humans can be the ones to create those machines, it means we can always have a way of being smarter than them.
How to cope in such a world where one’s skill is being obsolete?
Firstly, giving up should be a no so we gotta keep going. The best thing to always do is be the best you can be. Remember, AI can never be smarter so just put in all your best in whatever you want to do. There is a very big difference between robots and real humans. Humans always know what to do next but robots are always being controlled even though they are humanoid robots and they will get to a stage where they may be confused and they will be needing human intervention and that’s where we come in.
No matter how sweet it can be giving jobs to the AI, human will always be better especially when the person is very much skilled.
