Yes, there are some people who notice others when they don’t speak up and they know something is wrong with them but they can never force them to speak out unless they want to. But you know, that’s where the act of listening comes in.

Someone who has a listening skill and would do everything to make sure someone like you talk, and it is at that point you will find someone you can confide in because they listen - they actually care to hear all you have to say without judging or sounding irrational.

The act of listening is all about making a person feel valued and worthy of one's time and attention. Only then will a person feel at ease to confide in them.
