Having low self-esteem kills, and we must learn to embrace ourselves and appreciate our bodies rather than trying to go the wrong way to become who we are. That, to me, becomes toxic and could be harmful later. I don't see why anyone should not value what or who they are rather than pleasing others to look different from who they are.

It all depends on individual perspective of ourselves, some people don't really like who they see in the mirror while staring.
