Cryptocurrency Tug of War in My Country

Hello everyone good day and welcome to my blog once again, this is my entry for Hive Learners weekly events for Week 104 edition two.

Recently I wrote a post about the surge in naira price to dollar and the reaction of the government towards the economy challenge and hardship in the country. It's understood that the downfall in naira price initiated the hike price of goods in the market. The government of Nigeria decided to ban any naira activity on Binance so as to address the issue of surge in Nigeria currency to the price of naira per dollar rate.

It is quite evidential that trading our naira for dollar contributed to the surge because immediately after banning Binance from the Nigerian market, naira shot up a little bit. I understand that the government want to eradicate cryptocurrency generally in Nigeria but that will be a bit curmbbason to do because Nigerians will always find their way into the crypto market. This isn't the first time the government are attempting to stop cryptocurrency operations in the country, they've tried a lot of means but it didn't work. I wish the government will focus their energy creating value in the country by controlling the resources of the country very well.

The government are fast to stop cryptocurrency activity but will never check their illegal act of embezzling money in the country. Most of the politicians are the problem of this country because they will divert whats meant for the whole masses for themselves and their families alone. They will embezzle money belonging to the youth and yet come to take away the means allot of youth are leveraging on fire survival in the country. I can't even imagine the rate of crime commission when this works out in favor of the Nigerian government.

My current state of mind is very relaxed and not so bothered about what the government are doing regarding cryptocurrency and banning Binance from the Nigerian market. Maybe it's because I have other means where I do my trading, I am not really happy about what the government are trying to do because I've been into crypto for some time now and I am enjoying it there already. I can't count how many times cryptocurrency has helped me so badly when no one else was there to help but right now the government want to make life more difficult for the average Nigerian youths but as long as I'm concerned Nigeria will squeeze a way out from this trouble.

Indeed banning Binance has made naira gain a little value but allocating the country funds to what is most needful will also take the country farther. Buying vehicles for themselves while the masses starve to death is not proper because it shows how unimportant the people are to the government.

At some point it is obvious that allot of our politicians don't know what cryptocurrency is all about and so they tend to be deceived. I never knew cryptocurrency could be an amazing thing to involve myself in on till I met Hive blockchain. Hive reshaped my mind towards cryptocurrency and right now I think the politicians and the outside world need to know about legit cryptocurrency like Hive and how it operates, I'm sure it will change their narratives and save us from suffering because of their naive.
